I have been working with Quay Assessment for the past 3 years. From the beginning, I have found Quay to be extremely responsive, whether returning a phone call or providing dates for starting a whole NVQ programme.
If there has been a query or a problem, it has been urgently attended to, and a speedy solution found; in my opinion, this manner or working is essential to any successful working relationship.
My experience of the assessors has been that they are hard working and professional – they know their specialisms and have the interpersonal skills to be able to relate to the groups and motivate and encourage them to complete the necessary work.
As a small Charity, Quay’s support with partially and fully funded NVQs has been invaluable to our organisation saving us time and money whilst obtaining professionally recognised qualifications for our staff.
Having found an organisation that makes it easy for me I now contact Quay Assessment whenever I need to source qualifications for our staff.

My name is Shirley Jacobs, I worked in Health for 4 years as a Health Care assistant, in a busy Hospital.
In 1999 I left the Health Service and started working in the Health and Social Care Setting. I started off as a Support Worker this was when the Borough I work for put me through to do NVQ Level 2 in Care with Quay assessment. I taught this would be a big challenge for me because I had not done any study since leaving school.
Quay assessors made my Adult Learning experience a pleasant one, everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand and I was supported by assessors that was patient and always at the end of the phone. I never felt as if my questions, queries or fears weren’t valid, even if things had to be explained to me more than once.
When I completed my NVQ Level 2 my confidence grew and so did my knowledge and work performance, I was made up as a Senior Support Worker and had the opportunity to do NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. This was done through Quay Assessment and with their professional help I completed in the time scale given. Now I am doing A1 training with Quay and I have no doubt I will do well so I can become as good as my learning mentors.
